Fundraising Campaign

In 2019 the Community Park in Avonmore was closed due to old park equipment failing to meet modern park safety standards. The Avonmore Community Athletic Association has developed an initiative to raise the necessary funds to build a new community park which will serve as a community hub. The ACAA Park Committee humbly requests your assistance with our fundraising efforts. 

A donation toward the Avonmore Community Park Project is a valuable and tangible investment in our community and its residents. Numerous studies have found that Parks & Playgrounds have the following social and economic benefits for a community:

  • Increased property values
  • Increased community health and lowered medical expenses
  • Increased tourism revenue
  • Improved attractiveness of communities to homebuyers and businesses
  • Community integration and involvement through shared spaces
COST OVERVIEW

The total cost for this project is approximately $160,000. 

The ACAA Park Committee has secured $10,000 from the 100 Caring Women event in 2019. The 100 Caring Women became our very first Diamond Level Sponsor!
